Background: BakerCorp provide equipment rental and application expertise to a growing number of industries.
Challenge: BakerCorp management realized that the field staff were struggling to get easy access to equipment, customer and inventory information. All the data and business logic that needed to be accessed resides on IBM i, they set about looking for a solution that would leverage the existing RPG application.
Solution: The existing Rentalman application was modernized to provide an intiuitive iPad interface, securely accessing the IBM i in real-time.
